I am a member of the Sprint Roadside Assistance program, which is an option with my cell phone provider. If I need to be towed, a spare tire fixed, I run out of gas, and a few other "roadside problems" they come to the rescue. As it turns out, I have had to use the service twice during the last two months. In one case, I had a flat tire while driving over to Orlando. In another instance, my daughter's car completely gave out about ten minutes from our house. In each case, I called the number on my Roadside Rescue card and was informed that AAA Motor Club was handling the service call. I am not sure exactly how this works, but I can imagine that Sprint has some deal with AAA to service their members. In both cases, I was given a time frame of two hours for someone to come out and help me. Two hours, this seemed like a long time, but the person I spoke to explained that this was actually "fast" service and that it normally takes three hours for a tow truck to arrive. Am I missing something here? Two hours to get help through AAA, that does not seem reasonable. I would like your input, am I impatient or is two hours a reasonable wait time? Maybe an hour, but two hours is really too long to wait. By the way, In both case it actually took longer than the two hours promised.

I would be OK with maybe up to 1 hour, but 2 hours seems long to me. The problem is that AAA puts itself in this position by providing the service it provides. That may not be fair, but it's how it is. I remember something about a lawsuit that AAA had to settle a lawsuit a few years ago regarding a stranded motorist who was murdered when AAA did not perform in a timely fashion.
